Operation SITREP

Command one of six powers — Germany, the Soviet Union, Britain, the United States, Japan or Italy — in a free WW2 grand strategy game you play right in your browser.

You command one nation on a world map divided into territories. Take turns moving armies, fighting for land and buying reinforcements. No orders happen until you confirm them, so you can inspect the map and review plans without spending a unit's action.

• Six nations, each with its own advantage and national tactic
• Pincer, envelopment and encirclement: coordinate armies for bonus damage; air support adds more
• Infantry, tanks, fighters, bombers, artillery and elite units, each fighting differently
• Battles play out as 3D clips (Limited cinematic, Full, Quick or Off)
• Optional rules: fog of war, supply lines, veterancy, historical events, propaganda & saboteurs
• Commander's handbook built in: tactics, every nation, how damage works
• Single-player against Staff or Strategic CPU, or hot-seat with friends on one device

Best on a computer or tablet

Operation SITREP is a large 3D game (about 150 MB). Chrome or Edge on a computer or tablet is recommended; most phones run out of memory.
